When my daughter was about 4 months old, I went to my parents for about a week. We visited my of my dad's office. My daughter was very happy while we were there, until a woman wearing an enormous amount of strong perfume scooped her up. My daughter started screaming, and it took a while to calm her down.
She's had major trouble, particularly with odors, but also with food and clothing textures ever since.
I have moderate issues myself, more with clothing textures and some kinds of food.
All three of us have ADHD, though my husband's is fairly minor.
