Hi, I have a student with ASD who mouths any hard object in the room and is constantly on the move. When she sits down for fine motor activities she will allow hand-over-hand assistance and sometimes participate. However, she has never looked at the activity that she is working on. for example she will cut out a shape without looking at it. Should we be encouraging her to look or allowing her to use peripheral vision?
