My son is 12. He has autism. He doesn't talk much and he can be independent if he didn't have those burst of laughter. He is sensitive to sound, so when he was 8, I took him to the listening center for sound therapy. He became more tolerant to noise and sound but then he developed this laughing. He can start laughing very loudly for a very long period of time. But he also seems to be seeking to laugh. When he laughs, he kind of tickles himself. Also last year he developed other kind of tics that can be range from frantically rubbing his face, and stretching his arm at the same time. Does anyone know about my son's symptoms? I need help!
