Tubes in ear drums

my granddaughter had tubes in both ears when she was 5 yrs old. after years (she is now 22) all the tubes have come out .she has had 3 tubes in her right ear .. She has cerebral palsy on her right side , dr wants to put another tube in right ear.
since she has palsy on this side would this not continually make the eardrum floppy causing more problems with hearing. She is legally blind and my fear is that her hearing is precious because she can't see well? help
