SPD Parent Raising An SPD Child

Are there any resources out there for helping a parent with SPD deal with raising a child (or children) with SPD?

Ah, good question Maura! And, YES, there are. The best group to get involved in is the SPD Adult SHARE online support group. It is a quickly growing group of wonderful adults (many parents) with SPD. They can definitely relate and help you out.

The other group which is for parents of SPD kids, AllAboutKids, I know also has many parents who also have SPD and deals with thousands of SPD issues every month. It has over 1,100 members, so help can definitely be found there too. I suggest both groups, personally.
