Sensory Seizure?

I'm wondering whether this term, sensory seizure is applicable to sensory integration dysfunction. I came across it when researching into epilepsy on behalf of my friend who has just been diagnosed. The descriptions I found describe the abnormal sensations I've felt on a regular basis, but assume to be a meltdown. There is never any particular cause to the sensations, they just seem to come out of now where. i.e. the sensations come regardless of my environment/amount of external stimuli.
