Orange ribbon

When will our official color be made.

I was told years back that it was started. But seems it never went forward.

We can’t have an ‘official’ colour until SPD becomes an official disorder. It is unfortunately not recognized as one in the
DSM-5, since there isn’t enough research to support it being a standalone disorder. I hope this changes soon because SPD really affects me.

I know that SPD is listed as orange on a couple websites, and reflex blue on others. I think it would be awesome to have both colours to show both ends of SPD (hyper/hypo).

I recommend raising awareness to the cause by donating to the star institute, wearing a pin badge, social media awareness and telling people about it. This way more research can be done and people/children who are suffering can get diagnosis and official help.
