Never eaten at 6 years old

I'm a grandparent who is suffering watching my 7 year old not eat.




As I'm looking through this type of a problem, I notice several things which jump out at me. The licking of French frys. The vanilla pediasur. Water. Bread. Bagel. Vanilla ice cream.

I want to help. I feel like a failure. I'm grandpa! I'm suppose to take care of the plumbing and everything else. I can't. I need to provide a solution. I can't.

I'd do anything to go to a ballgame and have a dog n coke with him. What's the answer. We ALL need some help! This AIN'T right!

I know this is an old post. My son is currently 6 and going through the same problem. Would like to hear if the previous posters resolved this issue.

My grandson has SPD. He is five years old and lives on yogurt, french fries and protein bars. Even when he was a baby, he would only eat certain cans of baby food. He is seeing an OT. However, the progress is very slow. At this point the only way for him to eat any regular food is to play games and he will only eat a little. If you have any ideas, I would sure like to hear them.
