How do I get my husband to acknowledge our daughters' sensory challenges?

Our daughter is 8 years old and from a very young age I knew she had sensory challenges. When mentioned my husband would say I was over reacting or speaking poorly of her. I knew in my heart I was doing neither of the two.
Still to this day he will not acknowledge it and as a result I feel we have neglected to get her the help early on that we should have.
