Hippo therapy

Has anyone tried hippo therapy on children or adults with sensory processing disorder?

My OT recommended it as a good thing to try. We have our own horses, so my son does ride mine occassionally instead of going to a theraputic center. He got bored with just walking, but loves to trot, which we only do for a few steps at a very slow trot. he loves the bounciness. My biggest problem is that he is sensory seeking recless and wild and doesn't want to behave around the horses. I only let him near my 20 year old really quiet and dependable gelding.
