okay...we have the diagnosis and are about to start OT..but what can i do at home to help my 8 yr old daughter more comfortable?

The OT usually has a sensory diet planned out for each child.The diet consists of activities and recomendations that can support your child in their growth.There is usually one for school and one for home. If you haven't recieved this yet ask the OT about it.

Hello! I am a mother to a two year old boy with SPD along with a diagnosis that he is on the ASD. Read the book Out of Sync child. Good luck!
