Concussion and SPD

Do you know if and how a concussion affects a child with SPD.




Our daughter had a concussion and we and her teachers have noticed that her behaviour has been getting worse, it has been over 6 weeks now and no improvement.

Our daughter is 5 yrs old. We took her to her pediatrician and she said that she thought that maybe the honeymoon was over for her in class. As per her teacher and my observations this is not the case. Something has changed in her personality and behaviour. I will bring her back and push for further tests.

I would say you definitely need to be talking to her medical doctor and get some attention w/ her symptoms. Have any scans been done, Xrays, MRI's, etc.? My opinion is that you need to get something going besides what's happening in the classroom. How old is your daughter? Just wondering...... best wishes - you need a diagnosis from medical personnel & have some screening procedures done.
