my 12 yr old son has SPD. when we lived in VT he would mostly would wear sweat pants that were loose and soft and long sleeve t-shirts. He wont wear jeans, or cloths that have buttons or snaps,he complains everything rubs. We moved to TX and I can't find cooler pants he will wear now that he is in larger sizes. I bought a few elastic waste that I thought were soft but he won't were them. Living mostly in pj pants now. What do others do for clothing?

my son is exactly the same - we just moved to n. cal from Mass. he wears gym shorts - loose almost all year - and sweat if it is really cold for CAL. i let him wear the shorts with sweatshirts on colder days and he seems fine?

Hi there!

I found this site for kids with sensory issues. They make everything - including underwear. They have "jeans" and chinos and I believe you may find your son's size. You can also find them on facebook.
