my toddler is chewing up her food and spitting it out. i know this is a sensory issue. But is she getting the nutrients from the food? and what should i do to help her stop doing it? so far i have just calmly said, " Rosy, that's not good, you need to swallow your food. i don't treat it as anything wrong, and i don't make a big deal of it. but is there something i can do to help her resolve this issue?
