I have a 5 year old boy that's been diagonsed with SPD. He is currently seeing an OT. Today he was playing nicely with our neighbors kids all around the same age; and a little girl his age came over to play. He was nice and asked her to play with them. They all were having fun playing. Well my son found a rock and was playing with it. I told him to put it down and he did, but then he picked it up again and threw it right at the girls head. It all happened so fast and we did not know what happened. I was mortified. I immediately disciplined him ( time out, no tv, writing a simple sentence). My question is what do I do about this and prevent it from happening again?
