Back talk to adults

My 11 year old back talks adults - how do we deal with this? He is both ADHD and SPD.

hi yes i,m afraid they cant help talking back, we have taught our 9 yr old to stop wait and listen, you just have to keep repeating this and repeating, but it does eventually work.
Temple grandin is right in alot she says, teach them strict manners, it works for our son.
i know in this day and age that sounds harsh, but this is having a great affect on our child both at mainstream school and outside.
