2 year old not acting typical

My 2 year old son is acting very cranky lately. He hates when I clean his face and he cries when I do so. He hates when his 10 month old sister squeeks. He has been waking up at night alot lately and he does not fall asleep right away. He gives me a very hard time to put on his shoes every day.He is not a great eater and does not always eat three meals a day. If he doesnt get something the exact way he wants it he puts on a tantrum. I was wondering if there is some type of connection or if he is just acting normal. If anyone can help me in a way I would really appreciate it.
