Vaccines and Sensory Processing Disorders?

Hi my son has been diagnosed with SPD and also has Auditory processing issues. My question is there any relationship between vaccinating our children and developing SPD? I ask because I am asking because I am not very fond of the metals that are used to create this so called immunization shots that our children are submitted to every so often in order to be prevented of diseases? Bran got a flu shot a few years ago and he got a very bad reaction I Decided to never expose him again to that pain. He also started having coordination and motor issues when playing soccer, holding pencils etc. I am confused since I see that pediatrician's don't have answers and give our kids shots freely without even thinking of the possibilities of Autism, Sensory disorders and Aspergers.He is going to be in kindergarten and I Know the schools require a shot form before even register our kids. There must be a way to avoid poisoning our little ones!!




Please any input will be gladly taken.

I’m so glad you are asking questions. I was once very pro vax. Then my oldest became vaccine injured. It was very subtle and I did not make the connection until later and after doing a ton of research on my own.

She was diagnosed on the autism spectrum, has visual processing disorders, and sensory processing issues. Autism is basically an umbrella term for brain damage or brain inflammation which what these toxic vaccines injected straight into small children’s developing bodies are doing.

One of the questions I asked myself is who funds all these vaccines and I began to follow the money trail.

You can help your child in many ways to recover, may not be 100% but many kids including my own have recovered to the point where they can lose their diagnosis.

My daughter didn't show any typical signs of SPD until she started elementary. She was a snuggle bunny and loved touch and had no issues with clothing her first 5-7 years.

The only connection I can make is her receiving immunizations the first 5 years. Her symptoms have evolved as she is now an adolescent. She was first diagnosed with auditory processing but then the touch/sensory issues began to show. Its very frustrating as she was tested and misdiagnosed.

Now it has affected her self esteem due to the social issues with peers. Its been a difficult road for this Mom to observe since its a hidden diagnosis. Her peers appear puzzled by her & I believe think she is on the autism spectrum until they have a conversation with her and see how bright she is and can be social.

She is very smart and realizes they don't understand her and thus she feels left out frequently from friendship circles. It's a lonely diagnosis.

I was doing what I was "supposed to do" and got my son vaccinated. He was fine with the 1st round of shots, although I was appalled at the sheer number of vaccines they gave him at one time! He was just a little baby, why do we have to hurry and push so much into their tiny bodies?

The 2nd set of shots was a different story. He developed a slight fever, no big deal, but by the next day, he was a different child. He stopped cooing, giggling, and babbling, didn't make much eye contact, and the light seemed to have gone out of his eyes like he wasn't really there anymore. It was like he forgot how to be a baby.

About 2 weeks later, he seemed to snap out of it, but he suddenly developed odd arm flapping and hand waving behaviors and he never really got back on track for speech.

He is now 3 and he's been diagnosed with a possibility of Autism or Asperger's. He is woefully behind on speech and is taking special classes right now. I'm not sure if it's the vaccines themselves or just the possibility that some children are sensitive to vaccines, but something is going on. I had a perfectly normal baby, then he suddenly changed.

My son has also been diagnosed with sensory issues and they are inconclusive if its highly functioning autism. We have fabulous homeopathic and medicinal Dr for myself and my son. She said people with sensory issues should not get vaccines as there is an issue with the body being able to process the vaccines and it can make sensory issues more acute.

I asked about how that works if school requires proof of vaccinations she said she would send the school a letter that for health reasons our son cannot have vaccines. I'm frustrated as I asked for vaccines without lead and was against 4th e flu shot but my narcissistic husband insisted our son get them every year and now we have a sensory diagnosis.

Resuming speech and occupational therapies (had to take 1 year off due to my fight with stage 2 breast cancer) and getting him enrolled in a peek head start program.

Children are resilient and amazing and we must advocate for them and wish we could hold the vaccination companies responsible

My daughter seemed to "miraculously" develop full blown SPD within days of her vaccines at 6months. She also had a strange neurological adverse reaction, within minutes of receiving them. I have no doubt that vaccines did this to her.

I do believe SPD is neurological damage caused by vaccines AND/OR our horrific food system. My oldest has SPD and was fully vaccinated...actually doubly vaccinated on two different occasions necause his pediatrician had "no record" of his previous inoculations. A Paleo diet with grass fed meats and organic produce healed almost all of his symptoms. Sadly we couldn't continue the diet due to expense. I have to be home with my children due to special needs and cost of daycare which means we can barely get by.

I thank you for all the information from moms with kids with SPD and the effect vaccinations have had on them. I feel they do cause problems with sensitive children. My oldest grandson was
forced by his father and now his stepmother(she's a physician's assistant that thinks she knows my grandson better than his mom) to have shots 3 at a time at one point. My grandson now exhibits many sensory problems that were not there before this.

He has always been sensitive but now acts out at school and at home. They are calling my daughter neglectful if she doesn't get him a flu shot. He just got over a double ear infection and pink eye, so his immune system is already compromised. what advice can anyone give me. thanks

I have not vaccinated my child and he has mild sensory issues. I did receive Rhogam shot once while pregnant so who knows? But I am glad I did not vaccinate or else who knows what else would have happened to him. Parents need to get pass the 2 year mark with their kids before decided whether to vaccinate or not. We have decided to delay them further as he starting to develop more normal now. I would not risk it.

He is now three years old and speaking two languages. We still have to work on his receptive communication and listening skills but OT and Speech therapy helped a lot.

To the person saying an unvaccinated person can get their vaccinated person sick with a disease that there are vaccines for is redundant. Read your comment again. IF the vaccines are so effective against the disease then you should have nothing to worry about, that's the whole point of your vaccine isn't it? Vaccinated ppl shed the diseases they are getting injected with spreading the disease. Do more research on vaccine shedding.

Every time there is an outbreak vaccinated ppl are the ones getting the diseases. How could all of these kids have inherited these disorders and yet no one in our family has these things? Ppl need to do more research instead of blindly vaccinating their children.

My dad had almost every disease we vaccinate for and is still alive. Most ppl who die from such diseases either have a compromised immune system or die from a secondary infection. Please research and don't be bullied into medical procedures.

The government program the other posted referred to below that is paying for the vaccine injured child is The Vaccine Compensation Board (bc ppl can't sue the drug mfg). Most states have a vaccine exemption form for religious or philosphical reasons you can bring to your school, there are only two or three that only have medical exemptions. I do believe something is going on with our children. Good luck!

My 2.5 yr old son is receiving service for speech and OT. My husband thinks he has Aspergers and says I'm in denial. But from age 1 we both kept saying there was something different about him. It started with covering his ears, sometimes for no apparent reason. Not acknowledging his name being called, I would call it over and over, get louder to the point of yelling. Eventually he would turn around unaffected by my loud tone. He is still deathly afraid of the vacuum, has a high pain tolerance, poor sleep (its after 11 and he is still awake) . He never said mama until after age 2 but even then it was bobby. He began talking around his first bday, had his 1yr old shots. Shortly after got very ill and was in hospital for 4 days. He quit talking and at 18 months his doctor referred him for services.

I take these Aspberger and sensory surveys and he seems to have a mixture of symptoms. Maybe that why I think its normal toddler behavior because he doesn't fall under any specific category when It comes to symptoms. He's all over the place. he has started putting more words together but when he begins talking to you , like trying to say a long sentence he speaks his own language, but his vocabulary is very large. He knows a lot of words. He also know the entire alphabet, can also recognise upper and lower case (which his therapist said is unusual at this age). Usually they can only say them but have trouble recognising. He has been able to do this before he was 2.

He can also count to 15 and recognises his numbers as well. Knows all his colors, loves cars, wants to go bye-bye all the time, then when we get there he wants to leave immediately. I don't like to leave the house with him if we have to get out of car. He has had a lot of medical issues. At 7 months I found a lump In his arm. He had xrays, CTscans, MRIs. Oncologist, Radiologist, Hemotologist, no one knew what it was. Finally found a surgeon that would biopsy it, turned out being benign. But he has been exposed to so much radiation at a young age. Every six months that went by he had to have MRIs of this thing and be put completely under. One time his away began to swell after we got him home and he was hospitalized again for 3 days. We finally said enough. Well that's just a little run down, too much more to list. If you're still reading, thanks and your thought and comments are welcomed.

First of all, this should not be a fight between parents who vaccinate and parents who don't. Let's understand that we all want the best for our children. But I strongly feel it is so important to research the vaccines so you understanding exactly what ingredients are in them and the side effects to make an informed decision. I feel that parents who believe in vaccinating usually have no experience with children who have suffered from vaccine damage and probably feel the government would not allow it if it weren't safe and that there is no proof.

Well, I am here to tell you there IS proof. My coworker worked with a child who was neurologically impaired and in a wheelchair from vaccine and all treatments were funded by the government because they have a fund set up for children who have been damaged by vaccines so obviously they are COMPLETELY AWARE that it happens!!!! A friend of mine had a son who became autistic after a vaccine, filed a complaint and now has NO access to his medical record of the incident because government officials went to the pediatric office to remove the record and the nurse at the office said that is NOT the first time that has happened. She called several times and got nowhere with the government trying to retrieve his chart.

You will here statistics but two things to think about... #1 the statistics are so much worse then what they report because a lot of cases are covered up like I just spoke about and #2 whatever the statistics are- do you want someone telling you that devastating affects happen but are fairly rare and take that chance? Do you want your child to be a statistic? I don't. Another thing I hear parents say is "My kids were vaccinated and they're fine." That's crazy because #1 every person is so different as far as how they are affected by diet, environment, medications, etc etc so you cannot generalize the entire population and #2 really, is your child fine? So many disorders are on the rise including ADHD, SIDS, emotional issues, psych and learning disabilities, developmental and speech delays, sensory processing issues and the list goes on. Do people not realize these are all neurological functions that can be greatly affected by the presence of a neurotoxin which ARE contained in vaccines. And let's realize that so many of the vaccines are for diseases that are either very mild, almost nonexistent or easily treatable. Chickenpox?? Really?? And realize that an educated person knows immediately when something is not right with their child and seeks medical attention immediately in order to avoid any long term issues. Everyone has a right to their own beliefs but please do your research!

My question is that my daughter has been diagnosed with SPD & is now due for her 4 year old vaccines. Will getting these vaccines trigger something worse in her? How do I make this decision? I've gotten her the rest of them, but I'm worried about the controversial 4 year old vaccines.

...your child contracts one of the diseases for which you choose not to vaccinate, and passes that along to other children who (for whatever reason, be it un-vaccinated or a failed vaccine) never recover? Does the passing of that child weigh on your conscience? It should!

I don't know if we will ever know for sure, but our son was diagnosed with SPD when he was in kindergarten. We had noticed various problems when he entered preschool, which appeared to be social issues. However a very astute kindergarten teacher recognized the symptoms as neurological and not social. He is the only one (#3) of our 4 children who have any kind of dysfunction, and interestingly is also the only one who received the whole slew of vaccines required to get into school. If it weren't for the fact that he seemed extra-sensitive to typically soothing touch as an infant, I would probably have no doubt in my mind that it was from the ingredients in the inoculations. Personally, I'd rather be safe than sorry, which is why the others did not receive as many as this one. It just so happened that we gave in to the medical professional pressure and went against our better judgment. I really hate to admit that, but it was a moment of weakness. We have to be our own child's advocate. What is acceptable for one is not necessarily beneficial for all.

In our case I know that my daughter's sensory issues weren't caused by vaccinations (because she's never received a vaccine). We opted out of vaccines for our kids because we aren't convinced that the ingredients used in vaccines are safe.

In our state, you can sign an exemption form to opt out of the school's vaccine requirements, but I know the criteria for exemption varies from state to state. It's worth checking in to if you think the vaccines are negatively affecting his health.

This is a question that I had too. But perhaps because I think more to genetics, there are cases of fathers and sons,mothers and sons, brothers SPD.E for logic suggests that some genetic mutation yet to be ascertained. Of course, not be ruled out other possible causes.this is just my humble thoughts.
