Obsessive toenail clipping

Hello,

My 7 year old daughter will not go to bed at night without making sure her toenails are completely smooth, she can't handle them scratching on her sheets. It has gotten to the point where her toenails are so short that there is nothing left to clip but she cries and insists it needs to be done. She also complains about the way it feels when she scrapes her fingernails over paper and we seem to always have issues with getting her socks on "just right", taking them on and off 3-4 times to make sure the seem is in the right place. Could she have a SPD? For quite a while we just thought she was trying to delay bedtime but I really don't think that is the case, she gets so upset at the tiniest rough spot on her toenail.
