Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Private Practice

I am SO SICK AND TIRED of seeing kids come into my office with a diagnosis of ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactive Disorder). This HAS to stop!




I am also running into barriers with pediatricians and psychiatrists who are reluctant to provide a referral for OT services and simply want to medicate a child. Some kids are being given dangerous psychotropic medication at the age of 4.

I am open to any suggestions this forum might have for educating the medical community about this issue. Time is precious for these kids and they need to have professional who are working together!
