Jouberts syndrome

My son is 18 months and was diagnosed with jouberts syndrome at 15 months. He seems to have many of these sensory issues. However, he has this terrible habit of biting through his lip and tongue. So severely that he has had 6 teeth removed and is going back to hospital in a few days to have another 7 out. His lip is scarred thorough biting and he bleeds terribly.
We haven't found any others who do this which is what led me into searching sensory impairments. I hope we can get to the bottom of this and stop him doing any more damage.
