Frustrated mom of Teen
by Lynn
(Kern County, California)
My teenage daughter was diagnosed in second grade and still has difficulty with peer relationships. She is extremely sensitive and is prone to outbursts. Noise bothers her greatly. She has poor self-esteem, depression and is highly critical and negative.
I am tired of dealing with her negativity and worry constantly that she will never be able to lead a normal life. I try to be patient but it is hard when she has such a bad attitude.
She has gotten better over the years with sensitive to clothing and shoes. She is doing better with smells bothering her too.
Will she ever be able to hold a job or have a long-term relationship?
