A boy am working on , is always touching people in an irritating way. I have tried many things such as walking bare foot on the sand and grass. Use of play dough. It seems nothing is being done . What else can i do ?
For starters, u must remember that although those are great activities ur using on that child, they're not going to work overnight. It takes time and a lot of patience. What works one day may not work the next. That's just the way the cookie crumbles. One that has helped my son is that before starting a new activity or in our case, bathtime, he gets brushed using a sensory brush. This seems to help long enough for me to attempt giving him a bath. He still cries throughout the bath but at least I'm not having to take 15 minutes just to get him to let me try bathing him. If the brush technique doesn't work, try using sensory toys like balls with spiky tips or tennis balls. Good luck!

My son has refused to be fully potty trained since we started when he was a toddler. He jumps around and holds his belly in whenever he feels the sensation
