* Almost all autistic people have SPD * Some people with SPD are autistic, but not all
Autism has symptoms that are not present in SPD. I believe that SPD is in the diagnostic criteria now.

Sensory Processing Disorder and Autism are not the same. Many children with autism have SPD however many children with SPD definitely aren't autistic. My son has SPD but isn't autistic and several others I know, but my sister's nephew is autistic and has several similar sensory problems as my son. Hope that helps!
My son has refused to be fully potty trained since we started when he was a toddler. He jumps around and holds his belly in whenever he feels the sensation
I am a 29 year old single mother. I was born with sensory processing disorder. I am amazed their are other adults out there like me that are aware of this
