Proprioceptive Dysfunction as an adult
I have difficulty tying an apron or fastening a necklace behind my back. I notice that I have to ask for help, or compensate by completing the fastening in front and then turn the item around. I notice many of my peers can complete these fasteners behind their backs.
I also wear shoes indoors because I frequently bang a toe against the wall when turning a corner, especially if I am not paying attention to where I am going because I am walking quickly. The last thing I want to do is actually break a toe.
