Many experts kept telling us something was off with our 6 year old son and I've known it since he was born that he was incredibly sensitive and unusually temperamental. It wrecked havoc on our family including our older children. He got diagnosed last year with SPD. We had never heard of it. Now he is in OT and it's working! He's getting better especially at school. I want to help others be more aware of SPD and get the treatment their kids need. Catching it at a young age can make such a difference.
